Practical tips
How to stand out
- Start with listings that show pay. You can decide if a job is worth your time before you apply.
- Know the difference between hourly and yearly pay. A full-time hourly job is about 2,080 paid hours a year.
- Ask about the whole package. Benefits, schedule and overtime can matter as much as the posted rate.

About the data
LandMe collects open jobs directly from employers' own career sites and applicant tracking systems, not from other job boards. Counts are open jobs with a known U.S. state as of October 12, 2026. “Posted in the last 7 days” uses the date the employer posted the job. Listed pay uses the middle of each posted range. Hourly pay is converted to a yearly amount at 2,080 hours (40 hours a week, 52 weeks). Median pay is shown only when at least 30 listings include pay.
