Practical tips
How to stand out
- Apply to new postings first. Recruiters often start reviewing as applications arrive.
- Watch the employers posting the most. A burst of new postings usually means a team is growing or a season is starting.
- Set aside a few minutes each day. A short daily check of new postings beats one long search a week.

About the data
LandMe collects open jobs directly from employers' own career sites and applicant tracking systems, not from other job boards. Counts are open jobs with a known U.S. state as of October 12, 2026. “Posted in the last 7 days” uses the date the employer posted the job. Listed pay uses the middle of each posted range. Hourly pay is converted to a yearly amount at 2,080 hours (40 hours a week, 52 weeks). Median pay is shown only when at least 30 listings include pay.
