Practical tips
How to stand out
- Lead with results. Higher-paying roles screen for measurable impact, so put numbers in your top resume bullets.
- Match the level, not just the title. A senior title at one employer can be a mid-level role at another; read the duties.
- Prepare for more interview rounds. Higher-paying jobs often include a skills exercise or panel, so plan your examples ahead.

About the data
LandMe collects open jobs directly from employers' own career sites and applicant tracking systems, not from other job boards. Counts are open jobs with a known U.S. state as of October 12, 2026. “Posted in the last 7 days” uses the date the employer posted the job. Listed pay uses the middle of each posted range. Hourly pay is converted to a yearly amount at 2,080 hours (40 hours a week, 52 weeks). Median pay is shown only when at least 30 listings include pay.
