Practical tips

How to stand out

  1. Check the license class and endorsements. Class A, Class B, hazmat and tanker jobs are not interchangeable.
  2. Ask about home time and routes. Local, regional and over-the-road jobs differ a lot in schedule.
  3. Ask how pay is figured. Hourly, per-mile and per-load pay can add up very differently.

About the data

LandMe collects open jobs directly from employers' own career sites and applicant tracking systems, not from other job boards. Counts are open jobs with a known U.S. state as of October 12, 2026. “Posted in the last 7 days” uses the date the employer posted the job. Listed pay uses the middle of each posted range. Hourly pay is converted to a yearly amount at 2,080 hours (40 hours a week, 52 weeks). Median pay is shown only when at least 30 listings include pay.
