LandMe Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of LandMe’s website and available services, operated by Landme.org LLC (“LandMe,” “we,” or “us”). By using LandMe, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

2. What LandMe provides

LandMe helps people discover job opportunities and prepare for their job search. LandMe is free during beta. Features may change or may not yet be available. Any future paid service will have its price and terms presented before you choose to purchase it.

Job listings come from employers’ own career sites. Listings can change or close between our checks. We do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, that a job remains open, or that you will receive an interview or be hired.

Applications are made on the employer’s site. Employers make their own hiring decisions, and their websites have their own terms and privacy policies. A listing on LandMe does not by itself establish an employer partnership or endorsement.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf where permitted by law.

Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. Do not use someone else’s account or impersonate another person or organization. Contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may stop using LandMe and request account closure at any time by contacting us. Closure and information-deletion requests remain subject to applicable legal and security retention requirements.

4. Acceptable use

Use LandMe lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

Scrape, bulk-download, or automatically harvest LandMe’s listings, data, or user information without our written permission, except where permitted by law.
Bypass access controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious software, or attempt unauthorized access.
Misuse employer or user information, including for harassment, spam, fraud, or unauthorized marketing.
Create false employer profiles, misleading listings, or other deceptive content.
Upload or share information you do not have permission to use.

5. Content and ownership

Employer postings, names, and logos belong to their respective owners. LandMe does not claim ownership of those materials.

LandMe’s original content, software, design, tools, and original data compilations belong to LandMe or its licensors, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. These terms do not give you ownership of them.

You retain ownership of information and materials you provide, including your résumé. You give LandMe permission to process and display those materials only as needed to provide the features you choose, consistent with the applicable privacy notice. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to submit them.

6. Career tools

Résumé, interview, career-planning, and similar tools provide general guidance. Their outputs may contain mistakes or omissions and are not legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Review suggestions before using them. Do not add qualifications or experience you do not have. You remain responsible for your applications and decisions. Using these tools does not guarantee any employment outcome.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy notice explains how the pre-launch website handles information. Additional features may have privacy information presented when you use them. These terms do not expand the uses of personal information described in the applicable notice.

8. Changes and service access

We may improve, change, or discontinue features. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or violations of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact us about it.

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the website or another appropriate channel and request renewed agreement where required by law. Changes will not apply retroactively.

9. Service disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LandMe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LandMe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from use of or inability to use the service.

This limitation does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory protections available under the laws where you live remain applicable.
